2011 Spring US tour. Click on the map for details and mark your calendars !
Dear Friends,
Even if we are right in the middle of winter and that our "Dear" Mistral wind has been blowing for the past 2 weeks (Grrrrrrrrrrrr), I can already feel Spring...
The first reason is that my yearly US pilgrimage is now set and that before i know it, I will be there for 2 intense weeks of meetings, bringing wonderful memories and, when I am back home, it will be officially Spring.
The other reason is that we have bottled our rosé 2010 and when Mistral gives us a break and we open a bottle on the patio, the wonderful fruit smell projects us into these warm Spring days that we are all looking forward to.
So, I really look forward to meeting you soon. Please have a look at this page and mark your calendars. I can't wait to pour you our 09 reds and I will make sure to bring a couple bottles of Lunatique with me...to celabrate Spring, where nature comes back to life !
Cheers,
Jean-Marc
Domaine Rouge-Bleu
PS :
- Before my departure, I will be pouring our wines with many talented young winemakers (we have named our group "Nouvelle Lune") at Domaine Viret on March 4th from 6 PM. If you are interested in joingning us, don't hesitate to sign up using the info on the flyer.
- And while I am in the US, our friend and so talented writer Robert Camuto will also be there (but on the opposite coast). Please have a look at his events clicking here and don't wait another minute to get his book on Sicilian wines, which has inspired me to make wine there.

Glad you've gotten your trip almost nailed down. It seems like the Pacific Northwest portion is still a little up in the air. Let's hope there is a dinner somewhere in there.
BTW, will you also be showcasing the latest Banneret? I know the '09 won't be ready for a while, but I still need to taste the latest vintage from my own particular grape-picking Waterloo. :)
Cheers!

Sorry for my CO friends but no stops (again) this year. For this, I would need to find a distributor and even, I am not sure I now have enough wines to offer...unless it is small guys and with a strong nature-organic spirit. Let's find this rare pearl !
In the meantime, we have plenty of retailers in surronding States (MN, OR, CA, TX that you can see at http://a-la-recherche-du-vin.typepad.com/domaine_rougebleu/2008/03/o-trouver-nos-v.html)that may be able to ship to CO. Don't hesitate to ask them (or myself) in case you would like to get a few bottles
Cheers,

While we wait for glorious Spring, my friends and I recognize you, Chief Grape, as the Official Harbinger of Spring 2011(le printemps arrives aux etats-unis: 20 mars, 20:23 hours). We look forward to seeing you again in D. C. the 8th.

At the end of the day, packaging up your rope is as simple as folding up your tarp and stuffing it into your bag
