We had the best weather conditions I could have ever hoped.
Our grapes are now fermenting and the few tanks that have already finished their alcoholic fermentation are very promising.
Now the cellar work starts with the best ingredients we can get.
Cheers,
Jean-Marc Espinasse - Domaine Rouge-Bleu
PS : I way very behind on answering emails. Please allow me some time.

Congratulations, Jean-Marc and Kristin upon finishing the harvest! (And no more huge crowds for lunch, Kristin.) I have followed, with keen interest, every step of the way leading to the actual wine making process. How I wish I could return to Vaucluse to witness the blending and for the first wine tasting! I am sure it will be a sensational vintage!

Congratulations. I was so worried when the Mistral arrived.
Can't wait to learn how we can try some here.
Kristen, you should include some of your lunch menus (which looked yummy) to enjoy with the wine.

I thought of your harvest many times while in the region 2 weeks ago. I'm sure you all have mistral "sand facials" just as my friends and I! (No need for an expensive spa treatment.) Throw in a bottle of wine and tout va bien!
Cheers,
Cynthia

It is with much joy that I read that you have finished the harvest. Kristin, I agree with you, that I would rather do the cooking myself. It is not easy having 14 or 15 people per meal...that is being creative! Congratulations to both of you and bonne chance with the wine. I'm sure that it is going to be great. I know that all of your readers would love to try it.
